Baby Bananas

Cultivated specially for the gourmet market, the baby banana (also known as finger banana or miniature banana) has a very rich nutrimental content and a delicious and very sweet taste. In Mexico, the plantations grow with ideal conditions to obtain the smaller size.

The characteristics of this fruit are a high content of potassium (396mg), important levels of riboflavin (B-2) and pyridoxine (B-6) which offer usable energy for the heart muscles; it also has a low content of sodium (1.00mg). A rich diet in potassium and low in sodium can prevent hypertension and even some types of cancer.
