Mexican Delicacies Agave Honey
EMEXI Internacional offers you a completely new product, Agave Honey, obtained from the juice extracted from the Agave plant (one of the most emblematic plants from Mexico). Thanks to its content of Inulin, the Agave Honey helps strengthen and multiply the lactobacilli, which on their hand help control the sugar in our blood (Diabetes).
The Agave Honey also helps combat the missing calcium inside our bones (Osteoporosis), as well as help avoiding the creation of cancer cells and increments the production of vitamins of the B group and of digestive enzymes. It also helps to control the cholesterol level and combat hypertension, besides reducing the intolerance to certain products like the lactose, and helps to strengthen as much as to avoid intestinal and kidneys sufferings.
Process:
The Agave Honey is obtained from the juice which is extracted from the mature Agave plant. This juice contains – besides other components – 80% of inulin. A careful enzymatic hydrolysis partially transforms the Inulin into Fructose and Glucose, taking care of keeping a good proportion of Inulin and sufficient Fructose and Glucose to obtain a sweet product. The obtained juice contains 72% water. It is immediately submitted to a purification and rectification process to “soften” amongst others the strong flavor of the Agave. The water is finally extracted from the juice using vacuum evaporation until obtaining the Agave Honey.
